Jacqueline Alejandra Spring 2011 Collection

Of all the runway shows I have done, I must say I love Jacqueline Alejandra Spring 2011 Collection. Black and white have always been a classy favorite of mine. I particularly love the black hooded backless dress that I modeled in each of her shows. I can't wait to put it in my closet! Congrats to her and her new job designing with BCBG!!!!

Marths's Village & Kitchen Thanksgiving 5K

During Thanksgiving I like to take the time to give back to those who have a similar past as mine. This year I had the opportunity to run in the Marths's Village & Kitchen Thanksgiving 5K run with my sister, Megan Brunett and a very dear friend of mine, Miss Teen Nevada International 2012, Courtney Critz. This race took place in beautiful La Quinta California. Martha's Village & Kitchen is the largest provider of homeless services in Riverside County. Annually they provide over 43,800 nights of shelter, of which 22,338 are for children under 15. I am blessed to have supported this amazing foundation, and honored to have been asked to share a little bit of my past with the runners prior to the race and why I chose to participate that day.

Miss & Teen Los Angeles County Pageant

Congratulations to my friend Colleen "CoCo" Hunter for winning Miss Los Angeles County 2012, and Rachael Maurer for winning Miss Teen Los Angeles County 2012!! It was so much fun watching all of the beautiful contestants compete. As well as watch another dear friend, Monique Daggett, take her final walk as Miss Teen Los Angeles County 2011. Once again, a lovely production from Toay Productions. The choreography of the opening number was amazing. Runway Icon was on site to handle all the photography including the red carpet. A huge thank you to them for getting my mom in a picture with me, as she tends to be the one always taking the pictures. A BIG thank you to my wonderful, perfect, gorgeous, fantastic mom for spending the evening with me. We always love watching the pageants together. Thanks Toay for inviting my mom and I, we really enjoyed the pageant.

Ventura County Ballet Company performance of The Nutcracker

The Ventura County Ballet Company is a non-profit organization bringing world class, professional dance performances to our community. It was a privilege to be one of the celebrity guest in their November performance of The Nutcracker. Bo from B95.1 was my dancing partner, and boy did we try to light up the stage with our moves. The venue was packed each night, and the performances were spectacular. I always have a blast with the performers and this year proved to be no exception. Thank you Eileen, Kathleen, Colleen, Marina, and all of Ventura Ballet Company for having me to be a part of your production this year. You are all so near and dear to my heart and as always I am extremely impressed and in awe with all of the talent your dancers have. Brovo!

Bakersfield Pageant

This past Friday night I was honored to attended the Bakersfield Pageant. Thank you GT Productions for hosting and giving me the opportunity to talk on stage about what my year as Miss California International 2012 and what pageants as a whole have done for me thus far. It was so nice to see so many familiar faces especially one of my sister queens Mrs California International 2010, Ashley Pavletich. Over 650 people attended the event with over 40 contestants biding for the titles of Mrs., Miss, and Teen Bakersfield. At the end of the night 3 ladies were crowned. Congratulations to Madison Swaim, Miss Teen Bakersfield; Nashay Mathews, Miss Bakersfield; and Joslynn Jarrett Skelton, Mrs. Bakersfield. I wish all three of you ladies the best during your reign. Congratulations!
