Camarillo Kiwanis Club

Today I was honored to have the opportunity to speak at one of my favorite clubs since winning the title of Miss Teen California International 2010. The Camarillo Kiwanis Club is an amazing organization that truly helps the youth in our community. When I first started my organization a year ago I hit many road blocks when asking for donations of money and luggage...but the Kiwanis Club did not turn their backs on me. Instead they opened up their arms wide and pulled me in tight. I cannot say enough great things about these individuals who inspire me to keep doing what I am doing. Thanks for the warm welcome, interesting jokes, funny stories, and the opportunity to learn about Kids Against Hunger International. Thank you for lunch and most of all for believing in me!

25th Annual California Coastal Cleanup Day

Today I participated in the California Coastal Cleanup in my area. There were many people who showed up for this great cause and collected tons of trash and recyclables from our waterways. You cannot imagine what items were found. There were tires, basketball hoops, bedding, and lots of bottles and cans. It was nice to see so many young children getting involved with their community.

California International Pageant - Sept. 12th Downey CA

I am so excited to make my first blog entry as Miss Teen California International 2010. The night I was crowned was truly one of the happiest days of my life. I competed along with so many amazing girls who go above and beyond for their causes. Each and every delegate inspired me with their selfless commitment to their platforms. Thanks to everyone for their love and support it means the world to me. I vow to make California proud!
