University of Redlands Temecula Campus Luggage Shipment for Operation Santa Clause IE

Today I sent a luggage shipment to The University of Redlands Temecula Campus. Thank you Miguel Aranda for getting your class involved in the Holiday Luggage program. Your thoughtfulness is making this Holiday Season better for children in foster & shelter care in your area.

Blessed to be the new Miss California Intl 2012!!!

On September 10th, 2011 I was crowned as the new Miss California Intl 2012. I will champion my cause Luggage of Love and advocate for foster & shelter children, adoption awareness, and abused & neglected children. I will continue my efforts with Casa Pacifica Children's Shelter, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), Food Bank, Feeding America, The Backpack Program, numerous Social Service Agencies throughout California & Nevada, and the American Cancer Society, just to name a few.

A little bit about me and my organization...

Luggage of Love is an non-profit 501(c)3 organization that is dedicated to providing each child in shelter and foster care with a brand new piece of luggage so that they will never have to move from one location to another with their belongings in trash bags. I started Luggage of Love based on my own personal experiences as a homeless child who was physically, sexually & mentally abused. Being a product of the system and in such a vulnerable state as it was...I found it humiliating to have my personal effects put into trash bags. It was degrading to say the least. So I vowed to myself that one day I would make a difference and that is just what Luggage of Love has been doing since June of 2008.
